SPIDERMAN 3
& THE BATTLE WITH IN

Hey Guys and Gals don't Forget that next week, May 4th, S.A.L.T. is going to see SPIDER MAN 3, Yeah Baby!!!! The cost will be full price $9.50 for the movie. Tickets will be preordered, so I need to know if you are going by Wednesday the 2nd which Will be OUR KICK OFF NIGHT OF SALT WEDNESDAY NIGHTS!!!!!! We will be meeting at Magnolia movie theater in Coral Springs at 6:30, to beat the lines and to get the best seats. Invite your friends out, and make sure that you dont miss this one.

Now a couple of questions for you guys to consider before we go see this movie, Ok, from reading this comic book growing up, I know that "Venom" a new "entity" is introduced in this episode of the Spiderman saga. Its an alien substance/creature that melds it self to Peter Paker, becomes one with him and after some time begins to controll his thoughts and emtions to a certain extent. Which is bad becasue the Nature of "Venom" is evil and we are going to see SpiderMan do some pretty questionable things that are not common to his character in this installment of the series. HMMMM.....How is this similar to us? If we belive we are good people, want to do good things, then why is it that we still do Bad things? If we are Christians, why is it that there's a battle with in us, that wars against the things that God wants us to do? Why is it that this thing inside of us, fights for us to do what "We" want, and what the "World" would have us do, say, and act?
See Like this picture of our friendly neighborhood "Spidey" in Spiderman 3, We War against our Sinful natures that would have us follow every thing that would give us pleasure and false satisfaction. Paul said it in Romans 7:15-25"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do–this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God–through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."
See even Paul the apostle who wrote more than half of the new testament was going through the same thing we face each and every day, this war against our Godly Spirit and Our Sinful Flesh. The things we want to do (being the Good and Godly Things) we dont do, but the things that we do(the evil and sinful things) we do. So where does this leave us? Well this is an open forum and I want you guys to keep reading Romans chapter 8, iespecially the first six verses. What is Paul telling us here? How have we over come this sinful nature? How will this contrast or even be similar to what happens to Spiderman? These are some questions to get your minds thinking and hopefully sharing with others. Hit the comments Link below to leave your answers, and your questions should you have any. Until next post I love you guys and Godbless.

when the devil is trowing a lot of stuff at you all once you just talk to him and ask him for help. trust him because if we did things on our own then we would not be abel to get through our struggles without losing it.
